Chous Design

Looking back on my childhood, I was a well-behaved kid (?) who made everyone worry-free. I learned whatever the school taught me, which led to rigid thinking. I no longer thought deeply or explored knowledge or solved doubts. I just absorbed what the teachers taught me without asking any questions. Of course, I never thought that this was a problem. After all, as long as I stayed within the scope of the curriculum, my grades were not too bad, and I successfully completed the compulsory education period that only required grades.

But when I went to college and chose the major I liked, everything became so different and problems started to arise...
Since I was young, I have been passionate about beautiful things and I also like to create paintings from scratch. Although I was still very immature, it gave me a great sense of accomplishment. I always wanted to continue this feeling at that time. So I fought with my family and entered the design department as I wished. I knew that this was an adventure for my future planning. After all, I had never received any art education. Everything was decided according to my own interests and I made my own choices . Until now, I have never regretted my decision at that time.

During college, I really met and came into contact with many classmates and teachers with various talents, learned courses such as design thinking and design aesthetics, and participated in many design lectures. Only then did I realize that my ability to solve problems needs to be strengthened. This made me aware of the crisis and began to focus on strengthening my thinking in this area, and this concept was deeply rooted. This ability and concept are also gradually applied to my life: " When you encounter a problem, solve it ." Looking back now, college is a painful period of changing my own ideas, ways of doing things, and existing concepts. I am no longer a top student, and my previous advantages are no longer there. It made me start to think about what I can learn and do in this field or related fields? What kind of problems can I solve with my current abilities? Therefore, I started to get in touch with various design fields. In addition to the courses in the main product design department, I also attended the courses of the commercial design department in my spare time and entered the interior design company for internship experience. I learned about different design fields and corresponding abilities, tried different design applications, and produced a variety of design ideas.

Because of this kind of thinking and practice , my university life was extremely fulfilling, full of design. And because of the diverse experiences, I gradually found the design path I wanted to take.
